    Introducing the best night vision camera on the market today, the Raptor Photonics Hawk 216-A, offering comparable performance to Gen III Image Intensifier cameras. Using a back-illuminated sensor from e2v, this 2/3″ full frame transfer camera offers a resolution of 625 TV lines, a frame rate up to 30Hz and a dynamic range of 55dB. It enables high sensitivity imaging (<50 μlux), using smaller pixels for ultra-sharp image resolution. With a peak QE of 90% (at 500nm) it also offers enhanced UV response from 180nm.

    Raptor launches Kestrel 1000: the fastest EMCCD on the market

    Raptor Photonics has launched a new EMCCD camera, the Kestrel 1000, offering ultra-low readout noise while running at 1,000 frames per second (fps) in full frame and up to 1,800 fps with ROI. The camera has a 128 x 128 back-thinned sensor with 26um pixels for optimum image resolution in low light imaging applications. It runs in 16-bit Camera Link output for realtime imaging for low latency photon to digital image and offers up to 95% QE.

    Raptor Photonics' Kestrel sensitive ultrafast EMCCD camera now offers frame-rates up to 2kHz

    Raptor Photonics has upgraded the Kestrel, an ultra-fast EMCCD camera, offering single-photon sensitivity at KHz frame rates. Using a cooled back-illuminated sensor, it offers ultra-high sensitivity from 350nm to 1100nm with a peak QE of 95% at 600nm. Designed with a scientific grade 16-bit A/D converter, it has a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels with 24µm square pixels and provides a standard CameraLink output. The camera can operate up to 2KHz with ROI, making it one of the fastest and most sensitive cameras available on the market. Applications including wavefront sensing, adaptive optics, space debris tracking, calcium signaling, fluorescence imaging, as well as tracking fast objects.
